Bardzo dobre distro – stabilne i praktycznie bezproblemowe. Szkoda tylko, że za względu na to, że stawiają na stabilność a nie nowości jak *buntu i Fedora bardzo mało się o nim mówi.

Gratulacje Novell! Suse 11.2 było bardzo udane, jak na mój gust (i mój sprzęt:) Z chęcią zainstaluję 11.3 znajomym. Lubię ten system, bo jest robiony trochę w duchu Maca – dosyć prosty, wszystko idzie wyklikać. Oczywiście jest to okupione pewną topornością, ale zwykli userzy potrafią to docenić.

Fajnie, że Novell działa.

Przerobiłem Ubuntu, Fedorę i jak na te chwile SUSE wydaje sie być "najporządniejszą" dystrybucją

Pare rzeczy:

1. Susel czy kameleon?

2. Jak zintegrowali SpiderOak? Dorzucili tego tragicznego klienta

do dystrybucji czy podeszli do tego jakos inaczej? Zintegrowali to

z filemanagerem przez VFS, jak zdrowy rozsadek i wygoda by nakazywaly?

3. Jaki jest status btrfs – tak powazniej niz

"wczoraj sobie zainstalowalem i dziala".

4. Co znaczy "z stad"?

5. Czy mozna poprosic o mniej pretensjonalne zwroty niz "mozliwosc

korzystania zen" czy "nowego acz juz znanego", to nie wiejskie kolko

recytatorskie.

Mój openSUSE 11.2 uruchamiał się do momentu pojawienia kursora myszki w 21-25 sek, to maleństwo uruchamia w 12-14 sek.!!!

KDE 4.4.4 na nim jest stabilne jak skała! Nie daje się w żaden sposób skruszyć! A na 11.2 to KDE robiło różne "wypady".

Właśnie zainstalowałem najnowsze KDE z gałęzi UNSTABLE – śmiga przepięknie niewielkie błędy (ale są na tyle małe, że mógłbym się pokusić o polecenie tej wersji do użytkowania – oczywiście na własną odpowiedzialność).

Gratulacje za prędkość i mega stabilność. Nie robi na mnie już openSUSE takiego wrażenia jak kiedyś – chyba się zestarzałem. Ale to wydanie zasługuje na miano najlepszego .

STABILNOŚĆ, SZYBKOŚĆ I BEZPIECZEŃSTWO – tutaj chyba tylko Debian i Slackware mogą się bardziej tym poszczycić

openSuse to świetne disto, używam od 10.3, zainstalowałem ojcu i siostrze 11.1 i radzili sobie. Siostra z Ubuntu sobie nie radziła. Nie rozumiem dlaczego jest to Ubuntu jest popularniejsze.

A mnie sie właśnie zepsuła nagrywarka w laptopie – ani nie odtwarza ani nie nagrywa płyt, więc muszę zaczekać z 3 tygodnie aż będzie to naprawione. Też uważam, że OpenSuse jest świetną dystrybucją i już nie mogę się doczekać kiedy go zainstaluję

Jak wygląda sprawa z Mono w przypadku opensuse KDE spin? Tego distro jeszcze nigdy nie testowałem, ale wiele się naczytałem, że to straszna kobyła – zmieniło się coś?

Pierwsze wrażenie openSUSE robi dobre. Potem jednak zaczynają się problemy np. z przycinającym się flashem (nie pamiętam wydania susła, na którym nie miał bym tego problemu), albo brakuje wielu ważnych dla mnie aplikacji (mimo dodania contrib, pacmana i innych repo od społeczności). Więcej zastrzeżeń na razie nie mam.

Kazde nowe wydanie robi wrazenie na ludziach, ktorzy siadaja po raz pierwszy do niego lub na tych, ktorzy slizgaja sie po powierzchni. Dalo sie wejsc na strone google — o super, stabilny jak skala.

To, ze wsparcie dla osob niepelnosprawnych lezy, to ze pojawiaja sie regresje (glupi MonoDevelop 2.4 duzo skuteczniej psuje projekty niz 2.2; przyklad jeden z wielu) no i to, ze tak naprawde wiekszosc distr poza domyslnymi ustawieniami i rdzeniem nie rozni sie od siebie niczym, to juz detal.

Albo krocej i przyslowiem — wszedzie dobrze gdzie nas nie ma.

openSUSE też mi się podoba. Niestety nie jest kompatybilne z moją kartą graficzną. Jestem skazany na Ubuntu 9.10. Szkoda…
